The target is WCAG 2.2 level AA
The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the international standard published by the W3C. That means:
- every tool, including the quote form, service finder, route map, checklist and, once it ships, the shipping terms explorer, works with a keyboard and a screen reader
- each tool's content is also on the page as plain text, so nothing has to be played or dragged to be read
- animation stops when your device asks for reduced motion
- buttons and links are large enough to tap on a phone
Until testing confirms it, this is the standard ADL aims for, not a claim that the site meets it. In Kenya, this statement also answers section 26 of the Persons with Disabilities Act 2025. Placeholder: confirm the commencement and wording of section 26 on Kenya Law
The site is tested on a real Android phone and a real iPhone
Placeholder: test dates in full, devices, browsers and screen readers from the 06-qa report
Some parts are known not to work fully yet
Placeholder: known limitations from the 06-qa report, each with what ADL is doing about it and by when
One limit is outside ADL's control. The office map comes from another company, so ADL cannot fix problems inside it. The address is always on the page as text, with an "Open in maps" link.
Tell ADL when something does not work for you
Email ADL at info@accordke.co.ke and say which page you were on, what you were trying to do and what device or assistive technology you use. ADL will reply within Placeholder: ADL's reply time for accessibility reports, Q-62 and can send the information you need in another format, or take your quote request by phone. Placeholder: ADL confirms alternative formats and phone quotes, Q-62
